I agree, its quiet a bit of money. My situation lets me spend that kind of money. I lived a frugal life for many many years and socked up a bit of money, I am not the kind who lives beyond my resources. Let me put it this way, I have a couple mil sitting in my bank and and a few more in other assets.

I just cannot deal with the idea of paying 3 times what it costs to rent, just to claim that I own the house.

Sorry, I will be a renter for along long time, and let the landlord take care of the stupid lawn and the sink.
