There is likely going to be some type of amnesty legislation in the near future. As part of amnesty for illegal aliens, they should all be signed up to contribute to a health plan. If they don’t contribute, they should have to pay the same tax that US citizens have to pay, that do not select a coverage plan.

It seems that if we are going to allow them to stay in the country, then they should be required to have both coverage and the health care benefits that go with coverage.
