Now you have a CHP officer, stating he “smelled the brakes”, as he drove along side the vehicle, at times racing over 90 miles per hour.
Toyota is going to have a harder and harder time in refuting the claims that current “fixes” are not the answer. And I think a trend has started here in regards to calling 911 in the middle of such an event. People will apply the brakes, try the things they can think of and/or remember, and then call 911. It seems this is not going to end well for Toyota, which is too bad. Toyota has produced the best cars in the world for decades.
