Hitler. I don’t know who you are and I may not agree with all your ideals, because I don’t know you and to be honest your name throws me off. I don’t agree with all of Christianity, but if your point is that the Bible says nothing in regards to people suffering under bad loans you are right.
It’s tough. I can’t imagine owing $600k on a home that’s now valued at half that price. Sure some of this happened out of vanity, stupidly, greed, or simply an innocent ideal of the American Dream, but it’s a hard call. I would walk away. I’m not in that boat, but I listen to Suzie Orman and she says walk away.
Not sure if carrying a burden when you thought your home would rise, but it sunk and carrying around that burden is bad karma. I think a child seeing a stressed out mom and dad and feeling constantly uneased and unstable is way more negative karma.
