thanks for all the advice. I’ll ask about bare floors. But they have been pretty tough. Here’s some pricing we got and I’d love to hear comments. To me, it seems like they are charging what I’d have to pay anyway including demo. Please let me know:
~1000 sq ft of porcelein tile 20×20 tight grout, sealed $10K
~1400 sq ft of upgraded carpet and pad for $5K
~130 sq ft of $5.25/ft in the shower and around tub + about 20 sq ft of accent tile ($15/ft) for $4.5K

I’m debating if it’s worth the hassle. If it’s really half of that including demo, then I’m tempted.
