The issue is unfortunately more complicated than that. At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother needed to meet several requirements in addition to her own citizenship. I’m not going to go into it here because it’s been addressed in detail in archived posts. Check them out.
In any event, the only thing that is stupid is the unwillingness of the administration to put this matter to rest by producing the request documentation. It would cost $29.95 plus shipping and handling. I think l we’ve still enough dough on the Treasury to cover that 😉 Who in their right mind would want these stories circulating in civilian and military circles in the current climate?
