It varies over time where the best deals are. A year or two ago some credit unions were best, including Point Loma CU. Now, the best deals seem to be through the Zillow quote service. Wells Fargo has great rates but through brokers, not through its in-house staff.

I would stay away from Lendingtree. Rates are not great, quotes are missing important information, and the brokers who use it are the sleazy hard-sell type.
