Just to clarify, I said quality homes were attracting many offers, not every home. It does seem inventory is moving faster here than in Carmel Valley. I went to one open house in PQ, and the realtor hosting the open house said that most of the traffic was coming from Carmel Valley realtors and their clients. He’s been a realtor in PQ for 15 years and said this is a new trend. I guess this makes sense, given prices have been stickier in CV and are down 20%+ in PQ, and fits my general thesis that coastal areas will be impacted as price affordability creeps closer.
