I’m here because I love living in San Diego and want to buy a house here, but I am confident that house prices are going to continue to fall off a cliff, and I am waiting for the prices to fall to a sane level in a neighborhood that I would like to live for the long term … I find some amount of comfort in the fact that there are other like minded piggs out there that don’t believe all of the realtor (and government) happy talk and understand that at the end of the day house prices above 2-3 times income are not sustainable and will eventually fall back to that.
