I have a Panasonic 42″ plasma in our bedroom and I have to say, I’ve been pretty happy with it. I was initially concerned about “burn in”, but I don’t seem to have this problem. I have a 720dp tv, but it’s for the bedroom. I’m not a big AV buff, so i think it’s pretty goo for a side tv. In hindsight, i would probably go 1080… Still, hooking this up to my tv, looks pretty nice
If i were to do it over, I would have gone with Panasonic’s professional plasma line (without the built in tuner and speakers), because it was slightly a nicer plasma for the same money and considering I have a seperate tuner and AV equipment for the sound anyway.
Are you really renting blu-rays now? I haven’t bothered.

Oh no I am not renting Blu-Rays at all. That’s why I was not too concerned about 1080P. I don’t watch a lot of movies at all. Sports, and some shows.
