I do not have a problem with immigrants either, I do however have a problem with ILLEGAL immigrants.
Not that I am putting you in this bunch but it always cracks me up that people with good high paying SKILLED jobs can manage to ignore the difference. My guess is that if thier high tech companies were suddenly hireing illegal immigrants at half the pay and see thier pay scale cut in half they would be whistling a different tune.
Maybe those “liberals” that have that point of view should climb down from thier ivory towers and see the impact of illegal immigrants on the blue collar LEGAL immigrants and citizens. I guess some how the illegals are more deserving than those who did not break into the counrty.
Oh yeah, the senate removed language in the the Obama spending bill that would have required a SS# to be eligable for some of the programs. Way too look out for the legal poor and working class Obama! Ahh yes, some bold change is on the horizon!
