Thank you Temeculaguy! I’ve been inspired by you on Pigg for a while now – and reading/researching for a long time. I remember reading some other housing blog (forget the specifics!) and someone mentioned that you had decided on a place, so I ran here to find the details. LOL.

Anyway, I can thank Piggs and many other blogs from saving me from making a huge mistake a few months ago. I am now in a much better position and educated about what I want in the area and I’m seriously considering Morgan Hill/Paseo Del Sol/Redhawk for my first purchase. (2.7x income/10% down – cheaper than my rental in Harveston)

I think it was you who posted about the difference in greenery of the hills in south temecula vs the more northern areas/Murrieta – just the other day I was on 79S going towards the 15 and I noticed how beautiful the hills behind Pechanga were. It was a bit overcast and it reminded me a lot of Hawaii and I thought of your post (I think it was you) and felt really good about my decision to stay in the area. I’ve been considering South OC also, but a combination of lots of great friends, family and GF all in Temecula – it made no sense to move further and pay more.

Anyway, thanks a lot and good luck with the purchase! We might be neighbors in the near future! 😉
