Which experience is better?
1)several years on a small town council, small town mayor, then a few years governor of a state w/ a population smaller than most US cities.
or
2)several years in a state senate and a couple years as US Senator.
I would rather have #1 than #2. But as you pointed out, Palin isn’t running for president, just vice president. While I’ll knock Obama’s propensity for padding his resume, it’s only because he’s running for president.
While I doubt that you would vote for McCain because of Palin (her positions are not liberal), if there is something to be enamored of her, it’s her willingness and ability to take on Republican corruption and fight it. I heard of her doing this a year ago (somebody put her forth as a vice president pick and was roundly hounded for it). I haven’t seen a lot of mention about that here.
On another note, good for you to call gandalf on his crap. I’ve seen gandalf attack others for perceived racial slights against Obama, and yet Palin inspires all sorts of sexist nonsense from him. Yikes.
