I’m female, 66 years old, retired, quite financially secure, lesbian, and finally buying a condo downtown (now in escrow). I’ve learned so much from this site, and I thank you all for your contributions.

If I weren’t so old, I would wait another year or two to buy something, and I might not buy a condo. But at my age, I am so tired of renting and I need a permanent place to live. I think I’m getting a good price for a high quality condo with great amenities. I sold a condo in 2005 that I had purchased in 2000, parked my money, and have rented ever since.
