Parents won’t be able to buy diapers because diapers are made out of oil and airline will go out of business due to the cost which would cause people to fly less. [/quote]
Oh my goodness! Parents won’t be able to pollute the environment with their babies’ used-once, dirty diapers? However will humanity survive? God forbid parents have to switch to cloth diapers.
As for air travel, humanity survived just fine before air travel and I imagine we’ll be just fine once it becomes appropriately priced to include the amount of environmental waste it produces. Of course, faux-conservatives like AN won’t be able to fly thousands of missiles and other weapons over to Iraq in an unjust war but I think the U.S. will be OK. Actually, if air travel becomes a thing of the past, terrorists will have a much tougher time getting into the country.
Again, I see nothing but benefits to society from higher gas prices. Everyday I cheer oil to go higher. Today it was only up a buck or so. Not great, but better than no increase at all.
