have you ever tried to get into the Smokehouse (Ponte Winery) on a weekend for lunch? There is almost always an hour wait. Maybe it’s because it’s wine country and there are lots of tourists…but lately the wineries have been hopping.
I go to the grocery stores at different times of the day (mostly Stater Bros) and it’s always packed. I went to Albertson’s last week – just because I was also at Home Depot – and the prices were significantly higher than SB. Couldnt believe it. I will never shop there again.
Maybe ther restaurant was slow last night because everyone was at home watching the season finale of Showtime’s “The Tudors”…no, wait, that was probably just me!
I have noticed that gas is cheaper in Temecula. I was in Escondido this morning, where it was $4.29 gal. When I got back to Temecula, it was $4.19.
