Oh how good it feels to be a Ron Paul supporter, sit on the sidelines to see the media/political drubbing of Obama, and say, in the immortal words of Bob Dylan, “How does it feel?”
Barrack Obama got a free ride, nay, dare I say a full-service tug-and-rub, from the media for a good year (2007) at the very least. Not once was Obama berated or challenged in such a way that would have possibly hurt his chances to compete. Instead he was expeditiously catapulted onto a pedestal (altar) and we were all indoctrinated, day in and day out, about how much “change” this man would bring to this country. All the while we never heard any real specifics, only bloviation. But hey, he looked good in a suit and spoke well (empty suit).
Only now, as Obama nears the pinnacle of the Democratic nomination, do the mainstream media (MSM) begin to peel back the layers of the onion. What we are now finding is that the more layers they peel back, the worse Obama stinks.
And what do we hear from the Obama flag bearers? Foul! Wahhhh! Media conspiracy! Woe is Obama as the media turns on him and sacrifices him upon the same altar that they catapulted him upon! How unfair and unjust! These are the same people who couldn’t care less when Ron Paul was getting shut out, politically @ss-pounded, and called a quack or loon by the media on a regular basis.
Yet, these same Obama flag bearers are oh so quick to overlook the fact that Reverend Wrong does not preach dissent, but rather he preaches hate, racism, and anti-Americanism, plain and simple. Don’t believe me? Listen to his sermons for yourself.
And with his political career suddenly in a critical state, only NOW does Obama come out and denounce Reverend Wrong. The same Reverend Wrong who Obama previously said was his spiritual guide. The same Reverend Wrong who Obama said is a part of the fabric of his life and whom he, therefore, could not denounce. The same Reverend Wrong who introduced Obama to the Trinity United Church of Christ. The same Reverend Wrong who married Obama and his wife. The same Reverend Wrong who baptized both of Obama’s children.
Obama had attended TUCC for about 16 years and had known Reverend Wrong for about 4 years before that. He had 20 FREAKING YEARS to catch a whiff of this guy’s message, realize that it was not good, and simply walk away! But he didn’t. I know- Obama never heard Reverend Wrong say these things in the past while HE was in attendance!
