“No place is truly immune from Wildfire in Southern California. It is just the degree of risk that varies.”
I am in complete agreement. My point is that the relative degree of risk to 4S for wildfires is relatively low for all of the reasons I discussed. Certainly as low as most areas of Carlsbad that are not within 1-2 miles of the coast. And for those homes right on the coast . . . should they be older construction they have a significantly increased risk of fire, not from wild fires, but everyday house fire causes if they do not have the up to date fire suppression technologies which are a part of every 4S house.
No place is safe from all fires. 4S is safer than most in San Diego.
