There’s a lead story on cnn.com with minimal content just saying basically “experts predict ten worst housing markets for 09”. riverside,san diego are in the top 10 nationally with 20%+ declines predicted for 09. So what does this mean? if the experts are jumping on the bandwagon for big declines, does that mean it has to go up or at least stabilize. the experts have gotta be wrong, right? this extreme bearishness in the media traditionally means the bottom is near. or does it just mean that, like a broken clock, the experts have got to be right a couple times a century?
