    It’s clear that many in our government were looking the other way when it comes to regulating finance.

    But who are they? Who are the CA sentators and representatives that just looked the other way? What was the governators position all this time?

    If you don’t know then where does one go to find out? I guess it’s no suprise to anyone here that no one in the news is willing to put the list on TV.

    I want to know who not to vote for.

    Kudos to the few in Congress who tried to do something about it.

    Boxer was on the joint finance committee and did not seem to do much. I saw her a few times on clips of Ron Paul scolding Greenspan and Burnanke. That just shows that she is a normal Congressional fool. Paul is in the very elite class of Congress or any other said government body.

    Government never saw this coming, and the business people who did see this just took advantage of people and bad government oversight and regulation.

    Definitely do not agree with the first part of the statement. My personal belief is that plenty of those in government saw this coming.

    McCain tried to pass a bill to limit Fannie and Freddie in 2005. I believe both the Dems and Reps let it die.
