Is there any word on how Pardee Homes is doing with their new development in Carmel Valley? They seem very busy, leveling this and digging up that so it seems like a good sign! I haven’t seen any actual homes built yet though.
They’ve been selling them since April. They’re selling them very, very slowly. In fact, their first phase ended up selling two or three houses, the buyers of which all changed their minds. That phase will be released again later.

Pardee is just nuts. They should price them what they sold highland homes back in 2002…600-700k. They would sell like hot cakes. The land was practically free, so there’s no excuse.
