    Let me get this straight: Osama Bin Laden is still at large, the economy is on the precipice of a meltdown, Russia just invaded Georgia threatening oil supplies to all of Europe, and McCain picks WHO?

    Three years ago, this Palin chick was a small town mayor in Alaska with 9000 people. Now she’s running for Vice President of the United States with a demented 72 year-old candidate who’s already had four episodes of aggressive, malignant skin cancer?

    I can’t even begin to explain how demented this is. Did anyone in the republican party sign-off on this? Has the party officially imploded? This will loop non-stop on cable news for a month, same as Brittany and Anna Nicole re-runs. It cements the notion that the republican party has become a freakshow.

    It’s good for Obama, good for Democrats. Bad for America, embarassing, potentially disastrous. God help us if Obama isn’t elected. This is just insane.

    Fact: Governor Palin is a tough and accomplished Governor who has demonstrated during her time in office that she can get the job done.

    Obama has been a Senator since Jan 4, 2005 and has spent much of his time since then campaigning for the Presidency. He votes (when he’s present for a vote) in lockstep with Kennedy & Kerry: Two of the biggest, free-spending, bleeding heart-liberals on Capitol Hill.

    Sarah Palin is exactly the kind of reform and real change that is needed in Washington.
