I’ve been to Encino many times. That house looks overpriced. So Canseco did the right thing to let it go. Good for him.
For someone with his name, he doesn’t really need a FICO score. So why not exercise his option to walk? That’s the smart thing to do.
As far as his divorces are concerned, that’s what you get for marrying bimbos. You date them, but don’t marry them.

May 2, 2008 at 3:27 PM #198004AnonymousGuest“You know my life, this financial thing, is a very complicated issue. Obviously, when you make all that money, people think, `OK, let’s assume it is $35 million.’ People have to understand that $35 million, you’re paying the government 41 percent. That leaves you with about $17 or $18 million, not even. Then you’re taking care of your whole family.”
Complicated issue my a$$. My advice to Canseco would be, “Dude! Manage your money!!” Oh cry me a river. His little scenario is pitiful. Suppose he does make $35 mill and he gets $17, $18 million after taxes. How is that not enough?!
It’s not how much you make, it’s what you do with it. Like the Bible says, “A fool and his money are easily parted”.
