    Most recent information I recieved from a family member who refinanced is 5.25 on 30 year fixed/ conforming loan limit. Paid 1 point for the loan and the broker rebate him back .70. So when you account for the tax deduction of the point it is essentially a 5.25% 30 year fixed at no cost.

    That seems like awfully cheap money.
