Temecula Is 2nd Safest City in America

Very interesting – Irvine is #1, Temecula is #2, and Murrieta is #4.

There’s been past posting about how Temecula is turning into the next Moreno Valley, crime is up horribly etc. It looks like that’s inaccurate.

Here’s some statistics specific for the Morgan Hill community, from the period Feb. 1 through Aug 9, 2011, as presented to the homeowners at the September HOA meeting:

Of 408 reports, all but 18 were for barking dogs or false burglar alarms. Of those 18 reports, 6 were for graffiti. Of the remaining 12 reports, they were all for either vehicle break-ins or thefts from garages, in which the garage door was left open or the vehicle was left unlocked.

I’m trying to look a little more badass. I bought a ford ball cap and a carhartt used jacket. I’m hoping to look a little tougher so maybe thugs will think twice.
