    I am headed to Waco, TX, for my sons graduation on Saturday. He will receive a business degree in Distribution Management with a minor in Marketing. Here is the good part, he starts his first job June 1. Outside Sales with a national firm, salary, benefits, car allowance, territory-San Fernando Valley and Valencia, our old neighborhood. He had a paid internship over the summer, busted his ass, and they hired him. I guess the money for college was well spent, at least I keep telling myself that.

    it was a long time after i graduated college before i had a steady job. my poor folks. i think my kids will be too flaky to be employed for a while. must feel nice to have a kid figure out a way into the system!
