Would not be very bright purchase by private party imo. After fix-up blue book/car value < expenses paid due to accident history. I am getting a very favorable amount of repair$$ from my insurance co-I was expecting a total loss check for 7-8K.

Unfortunately no one is going to spend the time nor money to repair it if it has frame damage.

Last year I had 5 cars, then 4 and now I’m down to 3.
Owning 5 cars was ridiculous, even 4 was a hassle.
3 is manageable.
I’m already thinking about my next car, maybe a Jeep Rubicon.
