    Seems like Pardee homes just slash the prices of many development in San Diego by about 10%. Here’s the linky. Let the happy new year begin :-).

    The Pardee home development in Ventura had Mello Roos and city maintenance tax that amounted to between 7500-9000 per year, HOA was somewhere north of $250. Add in property tax, and you are paying around $20k a year before you even touch your mortgage.
