OT:San Diego density and growth

I don’t want to get too off topic in the One Paseo thread, so I’ll continue the density discussion here. Here are a few projects I know that either are currently under way or will be starting in 2-5 years.

Between those 3 projects alone, there will be a lot more density housing as well as a more urban village centers w/in different suburbs. The Carroll Canyon Master Plan already finished their Phase 1 and will be starting their Phase 2 w/in the next 2-3 years. The Stone Creek Master Plan will start in 2-3 years if everything goes well. Anyone else know of any other projects down the pipeline?

I’m not sure exactly what you are looking for in terms of projects, but there is a big new commercial development going in at the eastern edge of Del Sur (on Camino Del Sur). It’s supposed to have a Target. At one point it was supposedly going to have some housing, but I’m not sure if that is still the case.

And here’s an article about “Merge 56”, a development being proposed for site just south of Camino del Sur/I-56. (Very odd location).

Very cool map. Too bad it doesn’t have links to the different plans. The Carroll Canyon project they have is the Carroll Canyon strip mall on the Scripps Ranch side. The Carroll Canyon Master Plan I was referring to is actually in Mira Mesa off Camino Santa Fe and it’s a mixed used, high density/medium density development along with retail/commercial and industrial.
