We bought a Toyota Camry, XLE model for my wife. We held off buying despite really needing another car to make sure our FICO/credit was the best possible for the home purchase.
But would have been great to take advantage of the end of year stuff in 2010.
Yes, HiggyBaby, the Camry is a great car. I owned an ’88 Camry LE (fully loaded and a beautiful car…one of its “best” years) which I sold in ’99 for $3,200 and then bought my used ’94 Lexus.
Even though the Camry body has been shortened since then, they are a GREAT car and very reliable. You and your spouse won’t be disappointed!

Course, the extra horses will bring down gas mileage….
I wonder what we should expect in the next 3 weeks and beyond from Japanese autos. More zero down, zero percentage? Maybe inventory will drop (at least the ones built there, and the ones built elsewhere needning parts from there.
On another thread, there’s talk of Japan helping to topple the shakey global economic recovery….
