On piggington, it’s fine to discuss these things. That’s what this site is for.
But in social settings, people who talk about their jobs and their money non-stop are the most insufferable of all. The same goes for people who talk about their kids all the time. It’s all about them.
I enjoy being around people who talk about current events, social trends, the sciences, economics in general, and other interesting uplifting things.
