If you have been around on this site for a long time you may know that i spent to many years on this market and glad its finally over. Of course I have been watching the market more than once a day the past 5 years. Last year we bought our cabin and a house for my brother both were over 50% off from the last sucker. This latest transaction was extremely rough. House foreclosed 650k in 08 was listed and went into escrow at 450k. After escrow was about to close the buyers couldn’t buy due to husbands job went to part time. I saw this house withe an hour of re-listing at 350k. I emailed listing agent stating I was extremely motivated, conventional loan, large cash down, bad ass ficos, etc.. Another agent from that office contacted me and the same day we had a full price offer. Guys the amount of traffic of pregnant women, investors, and families was absolutely fucking (i don’t cuss on here but damn) amazing. We had offers fly against me and some were all cash 10% less than mine. We did get it but we REALLY thought we had no chance and said we were not going to bother with this market for another year if this one didn’t work out. F this market, I have had enough of this bullshit and stupidity. I wish the best for everyone out there. Be fast right now and have ur sh!t together or wait at least a year. Way to much intervention in this market by everyone to get a decent house in a “normal” situation. Good luck all. House was not in San Diego. It is in Alta Loma. There went a half a decade of my life but at least I saved a total of 425k (on 2 properties) so it was worth it.
