How exactly would the military “dominate the battlespace”

Do they just drive around and shoot anyone out after curfew?

How long do they stay?

Do they come right back if people act up again?

If they see police attacking protestors may they kill the police?

Are they just permanently installed in a base like in mira mesa and just drive around until the election with guns drawn.

At what point does one become alarmed.

Police beating down people is good for the markets i think, but troops killing u.s. civilians, not sure.

The 82nd airborne is the same that reinforced the US embassy in Baghdad after the US killing of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in January. Normally the embassy is defended by the Marines. A French journalist pointed it out.
The White House must be panicked about security.

The militarization of the protest response is very interesting.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Miley appearing in battle fatigue is worrisome. He’s not part of the chain of command. He’s simply an advisor to the President and Secretary of Defense.

There are many unanswered questions about how the military response is being coordinated. For example, who ordered the helicopter to fly low and snap off tree branches over the heads of protesters.
