great quote from Marc Faber interview on Bloomberg…thought you might want to share with your readers:
“If you define economic growth as consumption growth, then the U.S. economy is very strong. But you have to look at the debt growth in the U.S. I want to ask, if the productivity is so great in America, if they are so innovative and invent so much, how come they have a trade deficit? I don’t buy this high productivity in the U.S. economy. It’s all consumption driven. You don’t become rich by consuming.”
