Where did all the appliances go? Craigslist I am considering a fixer upper and thought I might see if I could get stripped high end appliances on Craigslist. Well they are not high end, but they are there. Thought this could be a fun thread to watch like the worst MLS photo! Example:

Moovan, I won't be participating in this thread, it sounds like you're gloating too much on the misfortune of others.
I am sorry you feel that way. I thought exactly opposite by thinking people would feel I was facilitating those who are stripping these houses bare. I would be willing to buy the appliances if these people stole from themselves before it went to the bank.
Take a look at Craigslist. I choose a nice one to post. Some are offering to give you the sink if you come this weekend with cash before they move.
What initially started this is the short sale we are considering has a lot of recently purchased appliances, but not even the really old things would be considered for sale with the house.
I would never buy from people who strip bank own houses. It's like buying from a guy on the parking lot when you know the stuff was lifted.
No lowball offers
I would like to see the carpet and the walls of the house that was left behind.
Marion: Whomever posted that ad on Craigs list probably isn't some poor victim. They're one of the scumbags that were either foreclosed on or played jingle mail with the lender because they didn't follow through with the obligation that they agreed to pay. But because they made a big mistake, they decided to punish the lender who loaned them the money to buy their dream home and steal the appliances. Their misery was self inflicted by their lack of common sense and their idiotic behavior of biting off more than they could chew.

If only this were a true statement.

Hey, there might not be carpeting or drywall left. I actually saw a bank owned house in Serra Mesa (Birdland) that had no plumbing, cabinets, toilet, sinks, everything was gone.
