What the hell is that yellow ball?User Forum Topic
Submitted by Oxford on July 14, 2009 - 5:28pm
This is a property I was interested in, saw it, but declined due to road noise from I-15. 10220 Rayford Dr, Escondido, CA 92026-8200 Anyway, there is this yellow balloon-like object on the Bing map that is really odd. What the hell is it? You can see it at every angle of the "bird's eye" view. I thought those were taken on different days. It looks pretty big too. When I viewed the property a few months ago there was no balloon or overhead powerlines with aircraft markers. So Piggs, take a break from all the charts, rates, and status of the world...and ponder the existence of an unidentified yellow ball. OX

Thats a marketing balloon that realtors use to draw attention (like how auto dealerships use spotlights).
I have always thought that using one for transportation would be fun.
