What's the deal with pools?User Forum Topic
Submitted by Oxford on March 29, 2009 - 12:00pm
I am looking for a home in the Fallbrook/Bonsall/Escondido area and considering a home with a pool, but I have never owned a pool. It gets hot in those areas a few months a year so it makes sense to have one then but I wonder how much anyone uses a pool the rest of the year. And what about maintenance costs? Does it add value to the home when you sell it? So, Piggs, please wallow into the deep end and lemme know what ya know about pools. Thanks,

Hi Oxford,
I used to know a man with a pool maintenance business. One day when we were chatting I told him that I was thinking about having one put it. I asked him "Do you have any advice for prospective pool owners?"
His answer was "Don't ever get one. I see what people who own them go through and spend."
