Just called it.
It actually happened April 17 at 9:37 pm.
Point to this thread in the future when I am right.

Are you calling the bottom nationally? Regionally? San Diego? Specific neighborhoods?

Just curious.

It happened at night? ;-)

Due to the quantum nature of the phenomena I am measuring and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle
I can either hit the time precisely or the location, but not both. Other have concentrated on specific areas, so I am focusing my energy on the specific time.

All I can say is I hope it was enjoyable for you as it was for me. Personally, I will never forget that night...

So it was a Friday night at 9:37pm. Someone just had one too much glass of wine, and boom, the bottom is here. I didn't know it was that easy.

FSD: Did you factor in Planck's Constant? And where is Schrodinger's cat?

I'm still trying to figure out if Schrodinger's cat was dead or alive when it bounced. For now, I am assuming both.

Hey, FSD may be right.
Houses are now undervalued.
It says so right here.

If Oxford bought a house on April 17 at 9:37pm and FormerSanDiegan is right. Then actually Oxford you are luckiest SOB since the baby that was born on Jan 1st 2000 at 12:00:01am.

However Oxford if your negotiating power sucks then yes you got screwed! Because the question would be "Did you pay bottom pricing or BOTTOM pricing?

He might have paid for double BOTTOM pricing on that exact date and time :-)

Is it too early for me to declare success in calling the bottom and throw my hat into the Senate race ?

hmm I think for SD high end you may be a bit early yet, the area's that really got hit in 2008 like Temecula maybe but it may get hit again as well but I don't think it will get quite as low in those area's again. maybe you can run for office in SWRC.

You hit the time precicely, but unfortunately screwed up on the location.

Someone is always hitting a bottom somewhere.

Nice :)
Many ways to intepret that one.

people keep telling me at work that I'm crazy for not buying a house this minute and it's a great investment. i really would like to see a touch of pessimism out there about future prospects before calling an absolute bottom...but maybe that's too old-fashioned in a world where the government guarantees your house's value...i am feeling like even if it is the bottom all the future gain-potential is being sucked out and that I will never live to see any appreciation...not that it matters. screw it...who cares...

Scaredy----Xanex might help. Otherwise the anxiety and decisons, or not making decisions, just can make a person go crazy.

I believe it's Xanax, personally I prefer Prozac.

"The gay republicans" would be a really great name for a band.

Leave it to the intellectual lightweight lefty to cast sexual slanders. I am a handsome man, however it must have been another whom you mistook for me in your homosexual hangout. On the second count, I am more properly described as a conservative, than affiliating with a political party. In fact, I voted for Obama in '08, albeit in the democrap primary where there was mischief to be made.

I had to bump this up. This is a classic for Casca. Thank God for handsome conservatives. The Libs have Barney Frank to scare people straight.
