I had interjected in a previous post of mine about a day we can all meet. My brother in law runs Todays Pizza and Salad in Encinitas. Holds plenty of people.
I'm thinking early July. What days work for you all?
No real agenda or anything, just a meet and greet and good food.

I'd love to meet some of the people on here. I've been a member about 6 months, and have learned so much! I would particularly like to meet Powayseller, Bugs, Barnaby33 (Josh), and of course Rich.
Any day works for me also. I think early evening is best in terms of time.
I'll try to be there.

john67elco, at a minimum, it has a typo in it. You need to change "your" to "you're."

I would love to meet all of you--smart people, but will be on vacation from 23 June--3 July. If you meet on the following weekend, I definitely will try to make it.
I can make the 1.5 mile trek as long as there aren't baseball activities with the kids.

I too would attend, though I have a wedding (not my own) to goto in Denver July 1 to 4. Sounds like before that most people, Rich included could come together.

I am also driving down from Irvine. On weekends I am usually in San Diego, so those would work better for me.

I can come anytime the weekend of the 15th or the 22nd of July.
I could probably make it Sunday the 23rd, but probably not the 22nd.
Why don't we just stick to the 15th? I think everyone has sort of been counting on that. Perhaps if we meet up in the early evening that would be good? Say 5pm?
Perhaps we can meet Rich a different time....
I think we should schedule around Rich. I also know fellow member hs cannot come on the 15th.
If this is fun, we can have future meetings on the first Saturday of even-numbered months, or some similar plan. Then people have enough lead time to make it.
We must have our guest of honor at the first meeting, so again I suggest that we plan our meeting around Rich's schedule.

They are off I-5, Santa Fe Exit, on the west side of the freeway in the Vons/Rite Aid shopping center.
I talked to the guy that answered the phone. He said they can accomodate 75 people. If you think you are going to come, add an RSVP of "yes" to this so we can give them a head's up that a small group is coming!
