Just read this over the weekend after it was recommended to me by a friend. Quick and easy read that told the story of a few insiders that saw the bubbly reality of the subprime bond machine and bet against it with Credit Default Swaps and the giant Wall Street instituions and rating agencies that somehow had their head in the sand.

I'd pass on the recommendation - it definitely kept my attention.

I agree a great read.

I like the analogy from the players that made all the money, it went something like this...

It was like being able to buy insurance on your neighbors house while it was on fire.

Had this opportunity been available to all of us little guys on this blog, I can't imagine we would have passed it up.
