So, is this just a brazen flipper?

My wife and agent looked at this house, a REO, a few months ago. She liked the inside and it had a great view; I couldn't get past the exterior, so I kinda doomed it. I don't remember the original listing price, but it sold for $340 on Oct. 22.

It is on the market again, as of Nov. 5, but for $435. I say "brazen" because I can't immediately tell from the photos what if any upgrades have been done in the mere two weeks since it (apparently) officially changed hands.

Edit: Oh, it claims new carpet and paint, but the additional photos seem to be all of the outside.

There's always a sucker out there willing to pay any price as long as he can make the payments

There's no way it's worth 435k.

Then I guess I'm the idiot.I think the list price originally was 360ish.

I saw the house after upgrade and it worth every penny, I don't know why it was sold so cheap at 340k, I don't think it is overpriced now at 440k when compared to similar houses with nice views and such a large footage and nice lot.

Shown photos are so bad, you need to see the house to appreciate.

So it was underpriced originally? My agent said it just needed new carpet. I fail to see how new carpet and some paint is worth a 100,000 premium (sale price to current list). OTOH, I believe it is just inside boundaries of L.R. Green Elementary, a huge plus over the neighboring school.

Yeah, if this was 2007. I'm sure you have an interest, so good luck flipping it.
