That is unbelievable. In my neighborhood, someone who lost their house removed all the light fixtures, the stove, the sink, a fountain and some of the plants in the yard, but yours takes the cake.
It looks like they never finished an upgrade. Who takes a dishwasher with them?

(sorry, no pictures)
"Subject to lender's approval of a short sale. Home has been beautifully remodelled ... Needs some finishing such as carpet in 2 bdrms, front walkway, stucco on exterior front."
Drove by, and there is, in fact, most of the exterior front wall missing, you can see the pipes from the street.
Any idea how much it costs to install 100 sq.ft. of exterior stucco, and whether it's DIY'able?

4/2 1922 sf, asking $255,000 (in an area where a good-condition 4/2 would probably fetch above 500k) Also no pictures.
* * * BANK OWNED HOME * * * This is an amazing price for this property. Bring your contractor and make your dream home. Previous owners did some remodeling with new flooring, fresh paint and bull nose corners. The kitchen has been completely removed along with most fixtures throughout the home.
See guys, this is what happens if we don't bail people out. We should be spending our hard earned tax dollars on people selfish and stupid enough to buy a house they can't afford so they don't ruin it while being foreclosed upon.

esmith,
Stucco is not difficult with a little study in advance. A job of any size makes for an extremely good workout. Getting the finish to look nice and especially matching existing stucco well is tough. Usually in a major remodel after repairing and patching the house gets prepped for a complete new finish coat.
Stucco is usually bid by the surface yard including paper, wire lath ,base plaster coats and finish. You can get a licensed bonded contractor to do it for $30 to $50 a yard. On the parts that just need prep and new finish coat that would be about $15-$20 per yard.
They are going about marketing this place all wrong. They need to emphasize the positive aspects of the property, like:
"Beautifully remodeled with an open floor plan..."
"Ample natural light floods the interior..."
"Feels much larger than Sq footage suggests..."
"Al fresco living..."
C'mon, give it a try. It's fun :)
No need for AC!
airy, roomy feel.
easy flowing house.
Cashflow,
Here is the thread you wanted:

This listing is definitely in medal contention.

"Let your imagination go free"
"Half the house with twice the value"
"Featherweight Light and Bright"
"Katrina Inspired Design"
The only thing more funny than this "house" is the extra zero in the price.
A few questions I have would be
1) Was the 1076sqft as measured before or after the halfing?
2) Where is the 1 bathroom. Is it the outside bush?
3) I see two half bedrooms, not two bedrooms.
good marketing comments all...I would like to be able to add 'half the house for half the price', but look at that price, are they crazy or what?!?
I looked at a house recently in... Kearny Mesa I think, where the copper pipes had been ripped out, and one of the bathtubs(!) had been removed. Interestingly, there were a couple of nice light fixtures that were untouched.
It's one thing to read about it, but it really is another thing to actually stand inside a house that has been gutted and experience it first-hand.
Hmmm. I know who bought that house on Chestnut. I guess that flip flopped.
oh, to add on
"Just steps to enjoy your back yard and the beautiful Carlsbad weather."
"Feel like a star sleeping under the stars"
