Riverisde Co. - Question about unpaid Prop TaxesUser Forum Topic
Submitted by djc on September 21, 2008 - 9:52pm
howdy gang, I've been keeping an eye on things and noticed back in May my landlord hadn't paid property taxes on the house I'm rending and his. I checked this weekend and the April bill is still unpaid. How long can this tax bill remain unpaid before something happens? Is it just a tax lien being put on the house? Is it actually foreclosed on? Thanks.

Can probably remain unpaid for 5 years before a tax lien sale. It is different than a foreclosure,
Call the county assessor for confirmation.
HLS,
Thanks for the recommendation. Will do!
