REO's, auctions, etcUser Forum Topic
Submitted by djc on December 23, 2007 - 7:15am
I put this in another thread in a different forum. I decided to post it here as this is a more relevant forum. -- I'm interested in the whole foreclosure/auction process. Where can I learn more about the process? I know RealtyTrac will tell you the auction datea for $10/wk, however that's a bit steep, at least for my casual interest at this point. Any other suggestions? My concern is buying a house at auction with hidden costs. How does one know there isn't a second mortgage or other lien on the house? The house above requires an EPA study, etc. I'd like to learn more about this now in case I choose to go this route in a year. school me :)
