For folks that obviously have a mortgage payment to make.
Just curious.
I use to pay 2 weeks before. My friends tell me I'm an idiot that I should just wait until the last minute (a few days right before the 15 day grace period)
I pay on time, I got BOfA and they screw up all the time,
I have had to phone them several times because they put the money into the escrow account,
Had I not straightened things out before the 15 day grace period, I am sure I would have been dinged, maybe several times by now.
I do an automated etf payment. I have it set for 4 days after the due date, which is 10 days before the "late" date.
That way if something happens and the auto payment doesn't occur - I have a few days to fix it.
Whenever I remember or they knock on my door asking for it;)
or when I get a piece of paper taped on my door.
I hear you can now shoot them when they come asking for it.
I am confused as to the choices???
Dont you mean at least three days before its due, on the due date plus/minus two days or somewhere between three days after the due date but on or before the fifteen day grace period?
