That's a weird way of spelling 'wierdo' :-)
The family who accused him of improper conduct was shown to have a history of shaking down corporations for money. MJ was acquitted in 2005, but public opinion forever crucified him.
The jesus-juice and the co-sleeping were probably true stories. He was a weird individual, he had fame and fortune before he could read and write, and grew up in a weird (again) family where he had no childhood. But like FLU, I don't think he was a pedophile.
Geez, he was only 50!! That sucks. I was never a fan, but he gave us some beautiful songs that will certainly outlast all of us.
She was my "first" (in terms of a poster featuring an actual woman!). I put that poster of her in the one piece bathing suit up in 1976 (I was all of 11 years old).
She really was a beautiful actress and I remember being extremely jealous of Lee Majors when they got married.
Tragic. I do suppose he was a sex offender, but was still in the grooming stages, and was stopped before he progressed to actual violation.
However, he was an ICON in our culture. He was a creative genius and provided many of us the best entertainment and music. I feel sorry that he had such a miserable life, and became a freakish creature as he aged. His talent was turned into product, and he became a mere object for the media and public to crucify. Despite his achievements, his inner torment and emptiness must have been unbearable.
I was 19 years old when Thriller was released. A group of us watched it together, video taped it and played it repeatedly, dancing and having so much fun. I thank Michael Jackson for giving me the experience to be happy and enjoy.
He died penniless, from what I can gather. I cannot imagine he was living in a rental and foreclosing on Neverland if his finances were so secure. It is really very sad.

He was $400 million in debt and would probably never be out of debt. At 50 he was killing himself rehearsing and writing songs for a massive tour. He was weak and fragile even then and probably felt that he could not pull this off.
Hell, international touring with a massive show has got to be alot of pressure and physically demanding even when you are young and fit. Mebbe he just though this is just all too much. His life was insane anyway.
Dunno. I think he might have "facilitated" this. We many never know. But he sure had alot of reasons to do it.
I guess I'm a little dismayed at all the attention he's getting today...he wrote a few so-so songs and the rest of his life is really nothing to brag about...
I have much more respect for Farrah...didn't really care for her when she was a pin-up (too skinny!) but came to respect her for her behavior over the years. A very classy woman.
While not a big fan he defined pop music and was one of those larger than life superstars. Only Elvis approached his stature. Hip-Hop wouldnt exist without him. Definitely a tragic ending.

Some great input all around this topic. I have to agree that Michael was a nut case in the last decade (give or take), but his music was huge. The superstar ranking between Sarah & Michael make no sense. Jackson was truly an international super star....Period. Sarah was mostly a N. America star - little known outside.
Michael Jackson was/is a great brand name. If you travel the world most people would know about it (Asia, EU, Africa, USA, Australia)....I doubt Sarah would have such name recognition. Needless to say, she was a hottie.....and per some comments above she's alredy spoken for :)
It is true. Heart attack, stopped breathing, parameds couldnt get pulse back. He was at his home in LA. Reuters picked up this.
The Government of Iran paid Jackson $40,000,000 to commit suicide and thus remove all news coverage relating to the revolution.
.
An Angel and a Thriller on the same day.
Mcmahon, Jackson, and Fawcett all this week...
It's a sad week...
RIP.
One less pedophile on the planet.
You think that was the case of just some americans trying to score some lawsuit money?
All we're left with is are the fondle memories.

Heeeee hee! Everyone pour out a little Jesus Juice for our dead homey MJ.
It's not commonly known, but the real MJ died years ago.
Oh some of you are just soooooo cruel....
What next, are you folks going to be on the city courthouse bidding on the 50% off neverland ranch? :)

No. The guy was a sick dude. Feel sorry for him if you'd like.

I don't..Wasn't much a fan of him. I just thought he was kinda of a wierdo, not so much as a pedo...Anyway..

stiffs.com FTW:
"He touched so many..."
Watch all the real dirt come out on him now.
I wonder who will play him in the movie they make about his life??

Yep, so much for the revolution.
I'm calling it now: Jamie Foxx
P.S., Captain EO was the shit!

You have to admit though that at his peak, he single-handedly and historically changed pop culture across the entire globe, forever.
And as a result, music and the industry will forever be measured in comparison to this american artist.
The death of our youth.

Ironically, so did Ed Mcmahon
What next, are you folks going to be on the city courthouse bidding on the 50% off neverland ranch? :)
50%???? From this crowd???
I am thinking 90%.
I wonder what really happened.

How do you know when it's bed time at Never Never Land? The big hand reaches the little hand.

Back off buddy, Farrah belonged to me.(g)
