I'll be away abroad so I'll miss the Black Friday sales. Bummer. I read that WalMart will be open 24 hours.

I was pretty tight in my spending last year. I still want to get gifts for the same short list of people, and will spend about the same amount of money.
On a related note, my girlfriend's dad had football on this past weekend... has holiday advertising always started in early November?
