OT: Did you receive the economic stimulus check?

I was wondering if people have started receiving their rebate checks from IRS, either through direct deposit or as a paper check. If not, how about the second notice from IRS with the specifics of how much you will receive etc? Did you receive at least this yet?
As for me, I haven't received the second notice or the rebate check yet and hence the concern. According to the IRS web-site I should have received my rebate through direct deposit by May 16th!

I haven't got my 2nd notice yet either. Someone told me when you get your check, it depends on your SS# (maybe they just begin at 1 and finish with 999-99-9999?).

The date for my SSN came and went. Since we have direct deposit of refunds and electronic filing we would have received a direct deposit. But, alas, we are not eligible. To those who received or will receive a check, you are welcome ...

Thank you for your generosity. My SSN was in the first batch and I received the check last week. Spent 1/3 of it sending my dog to the emergency vet two days later from a severe allergic reaction, and took the rest to my savings stockpile.

I received the first check, but have not gotten the notice for the second check or the check itself (I read an article that said the second check would arrive around July).
