Dixieline basically screwed this up. They actually covered the cost of the replacement so this was a free window to me.
They told me this would pass the ingress/egress inspection, but the inspector measured the opening and it was too narrow. There was no other door or window in the room so I had to take this out and get a new one.
So, if you use this and it gets inspected, make sure there is another door or window in the room that passes the ingress/egress size requirement.
If you don’t get it inspected, just know it is an 18″ opening instead of 20″ opening. Only a very fat person would be unable to get out of this window.
