Well, it is sort of related to real-estate. Maybe one of you guys can use this. I'd go cheaper for a fellow pigg in need of this.

Dixieline basically screwed this up. They actually covered the cost of the replacement so this was a free window to me.

They told me this would pass the ingress/egress inspection, but the inspector measured the opening and it was too narrow. There was no other door or window in the room so I had to take this out and get a new one.

So, if you use this and it gets inspected, make sure there is another door or window in the room that passes the ingress/egress size requirement.

If you don't get it inspected, just know it is an 18" opening instead of 20" opening. Only a very fat person would be unable to get out of this window.

I forwarded the link to my husband. He's going to measure tonight.

(And he fits 2 of your criteria on the ad - Architect and do-it-yourselfer, LOL.)

Is he the one that is into Battlebots ?

He likes watching them on tv... and has voiced that if we ever get rich - that's how he'd spend his time and money. But he's never built a bot or anything.

didn't you actually team with another Pigg and compete in them? Or am I getting confused.

Unfortunately for us - we have 3 large windows to replace - all 3 are different sizes... and none of them are THIS size. Darn it. It's a great deal!

Wow I actually might have use for this. A bird flew into the window in the rental I am in and the owner asked if I could help him get it fixed. I will get back to you shortly!
