Obama Goes to Psychic to get Advice on Best Way to Kill American Middle ClassUser Forum Topic
Submitted by sdgrrl on July 9, 2008 - 12:34am
:Reported from whatever the hell source I need to back up my story: Yesterday, Presidential Candidate Barack Obama went to a psychic/astrologer to find what month would be best to implement his attack on the Middle Class. The astrologer and native Chicagoan Bunny McMuffin said that in late August with Venus aligned with Mars and the annual Pleiads meteor shower, that an attack on the Middle Class would go favorably for him and the Democratic Party. It is reported that Obama had tears in his eyes with the realization that all his childhood dreams would finally go according to his master plan of world domination. It was reported too that he parted with these words "We will finally kill all those American Middle-Class WWE watching Bastards." : Unfortunately, McMuffin nor Obama's camp could be reached for further comment.

Here we go...
sdgrrl, did you also here he's going to kill all the first born male children of the Republican party. THEN he's going to divorce Michelle, impregnant a Muslim princess and raise Muslim babies in the White House.
Also, Obama's going to appoint his trusted friend and advisor Rev. Wright as Secretary of State. Together he and Rev. Wright will devise an evil plan to impregnant all the southern women with the sperm of black men, and the Swat team will be directed to shoot everybody in a truck that bears the confederate flag.
I think that would be the wrong time of year for the Pleiades. The Perseid meteor shower is usually in August. I think Obama needs a better astrologer.
You know, I did hear that. lol
Sorry, my fact checker is in Bora Bora on a trip to raise money for the Association for Gorilla Sign Language.
A very worthy charity.

Ahh Koko and her Kitten! Still brings tears to my lil' eyes.
sdgrrl,
That's great stuff. Unfortunately, the internet has brought into existence a new era of ignorance, and there are plenty of people who would actually read that, believe it, and spread it. (First, they'd have to miss the obvious sarcasm, but they're not looking for sarcasm. They're looking for fodder for their attacks.) And next thing you know, it's an established fact among the vast wasteland of fools who believe whatever they read (and want to believe) on the internet.
Before we had (somewhat) reliable news reporting, we had only rumors and propaganda. For a few decades, we had rumors and propaganda and some relatively reliable news outlets. Now we have rumors, propaganda, Fox News, a few reliable news outlets, and the behemoth internet. The internet, where any jackass who can type can put up a blog and type whatever the hell they want. And where millions of people read and believe whatever the hell they want regardless of whether it stands up to even a little bit of scrutiny.
Sdgrrl,
Would you please put OT: in front of your posts? I can't tell they are not about housing which is the only thing I come to this blog for.
I think we need to start removing these types of headlines. This isn't the National Enquirer.
Jfuquette has a new name? There are enough of the wing nuts showing up here to make me think about not coming back.
I will probably just read Rich's stuff and forget the rest.
You would think with all the resources in this country, people would be ashamed to be so ignorant as these posters have become lately. Too bad they get to vote.
This seemed to happen last Summer on this board as well. Maybe people get tired of housing and veer wildly off course for a few weeks or a month.
Anyone ever heard of a little humor to lighten up the day and usual political ranting? Any way, I will try to keep my comments strictly to real estate, as all the piggy squares get miffed by even a teeny tiny circle.
I thought it was funny... and it certainly got a lot of replies. A blog is a microcosmic democracy: replying is a vote which moves a topic to the top of the active forum topics list. Not replying is a vote against it. Simply don't reply and it will go away.
All others need to do is come up with 15 interesting, real estate related articles to push these off the board! That's the real challenge and the responsibility lies on you, the voter!
I was joking around btw. I agree with nostradamus.
I blew coffee out of my nose laughing when I saw all the zaniness this AM. Not really but people post that all the time when something is funny.
I find that funny too.
Bottom line: It was funny.
Thanks for the garbage, sdgrrl.
Now get the hell out of here. Please.
Ah, come on it was pretty funny. Watching the bloodbath in the streets with this housing/finacial mess can get a little boring. Anyway we have to make some political jokes because if we look at either candidate too seriously we'd realize who ever we elect in November we'll still be f%$ked.
in preparation for the attack, mccain has proposed to maybe sometime possibly but not very likely but most definately defend the middle class with a ballistic anti-tax defense shield and a wall of balanced budget proposals. neither systems have been tested to date, but mccain resolutely waffled about their uncertain abilities.
Well, some of us have a sense of humour. I thought your posts were hilarious.
Can I have my name changed to Buffy McMuffin? Please? I love that name
I agree 100% with nostradamus:
All others need to do is come up with 15 interesting, real estate related articles to push these off the board! That's the real challenge and the responsibility lies on you, the voter!
Well said sir!
As I described at length in the "jfucquette must go" thread, this is an unmoderated forum for all the joys and ills that that leads to. (The main joy being that I don't have to spend time moderating it). I will draw the line at repeated incidences of threadjacking housing threads into political flamewars. But if someone posts a dedicated thread in the OT forum, anything goes... that's the way it is. (Again, more detail in the jf must go thread, and no I cannot remove the OT forum from the active forum topics list).
So I respectfully request that people stop asking me to remove forum topics, and that they instead follow Nostradamus' sage advice and ignore it or start a better thread.
Thanks!
Rich
PS - Yes, I also lol'd at "Bunny McMuffin."
Now get the hell out of here. Please.
...Ahhh MisterMark, you have inspired me to stay forever! Though this posting will soon end up in Thread Heaven or I'm sure you think Hell I will be here indefinitely. Now hurry along and make sure all your pencils have that 1/2 inch tip you so highly prize.
Mr. Rich, I am honored that you enjoyed the name and give it to you freely to use as you please!
Best Regards,
sdgrrl.
They were both funny. You go grrl. I'll cast my vote to keep it at the top of the list. That other guy - not so much.
I see the Cutie Patootie has weighed in.
